Honeymoon All Inclusive Resorts

Before booking reservations, here is what you need to know about honeymoon all inclusive resorts. Many couples like the idea of these types of resorts. After all, what’s not to love about these vacation deals?

The idea is that you once you pay, you never have to take your wallet out over the whole trip. You get your food, beverages, activities – all free. Or is that genuinely what it is like? Not exactly, but it is not all bad. Here is the deal.

Most honeymoon all-inclusive resorts don’t actually give you everything they have for the price you pay. The price tends to be all-inclusive only as long as you don’t want the premium activities and ameneties such as motorized water sports, the better name liquor, or the lobster on the menu.

This is true even if you buy a package at one of the luxury resorts. Spa treatments, deep-sea fishing and trips off the property are always chargeable. How about actually getting to the resort?

You might have seen it advertised that the flight to the resort is included in the package. If it says so, you want to give that a closer look. Usually, they don’t offer you a flight from where you are.

Say, for instance, you happen to live in San Francisco and you are interested in a honeymoon all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas. That flight to the Bahamas that they claim is included in the package is almost certainly not going to be from San Francisco. In all probability, it is going to be from Miami.

You will want to check the details from times meals are available to extras charged for room service. And when you head in the bar looking for those great unlimited free drinks, you should realize that they are probably not pouring you any premium brands of liquor.

Many of these extra charges are frequent practice at all-inclusive resorts. If you pick one of their more reasonably priced packages, you may not get some of the things you expect.

It is not as bad as it sound though, you just need to make sure what you are expecting is part of the package. In the end, honeymoon all-inclusive resorts aren’t always cheaper than other resorts. Usually, with all the add-ons that you will want, they turn out to cost just about the same. What makes them a deal is that you don’t have to do much planning and can just go and enjoy your vacation.
